Eleanor and Rory’s journey started on a chance meeting during their travels in Thailand. They happened to be on the same party cruise, exchanged numbers, and later went on their first date back home in Ireland. Their love blossomed over time, leading to a romantic proposal during what was meant to be Rory’s 30th birthday celebration at a glamping resort. Instead, Rory surprised Eleanor by popping the question in their glamping pod, and they spent the evening sipping Prosecco in the hot tub!
When planning their special day, the couple wanted a celebration where friends and family could mix together for one big party. They dreamed of good weather, great music, and wonderful vibes – all of which came true at their beautiful Finca Villa Palma wedding in sun-kissed Marbella, Malaga.

Nestled in the stunning landscapes of Marbella, Finca Villa Palma, your luxuary wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for Eleanor and Rory’s wedding. The venue’s natural beauty played a key role in their colour scheme and overall wedding vision.

The couple wanted to complement the lush green setting with olive green bridesmaid dresses while adding pops of vibrant colours in the bouquets. The groomsmen wore natural tones, with colouqasw56rful buttonholes adding visual interest. Eleanor particularly loved the combination of fuchsia and orange, which featured prominently in her bouquet and table arrangements.

Eleanor and Rory included several unique elements that made their Marbella wedding truly their own:

Eleanor’s gown was the Emmanuel by Riki Dalal, featuring a high halter neck that she fell in love with when first seeing it online. “It was so comfortable to wear for the day but flattering too. The high halter neck meant that I never had to adjust it. I felt amazing in it,” shared Eleanor.

When asked about their favorite moment, Eleanor and Rory both mentioned their first dance. Though it was the part they were most nervous about, once the band started playing, their nerves disappeared, and it felt like they were the only two people in the world.

Similar to Lucy and Gary’s magical mediterranean venue wedding, Eleanor and Rory’s celebration captured the romance and beauty of a Spanish destination wedding.
In their own words, their wedding day was “the most special celebration of our love for each other, our family and all of our friends. It was one hell of a party!”
