How long have you been a wedding photographer?

I started my wedding photography business in 2009

How many weddings do you photograph per year?

I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can stay fully present, creatively inspired, and completely focused on telling each couple’s story in a natural, honest way.

where are you based?

I’m based on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, mainly working in Marbella and Malaga, and I regularly photograph destination weddings across Andalusia and beyond.

do you photograph destination weddings?

Yes, most of my couples are from the UK and travel to Spain for their wedding. I specialise in destination weddings, so I’m very used to working remotely with couples planning from abroad.

what is your photography style?

My style is natural, relaxed, and documentary led. I focus on real moments as they happen, with gentle guidance when needed so couples feel comfortable and never overly posed.

do you know the wedding venues in Malaga and marbella?

Yes, I’ve worked across many venues in Marbella and Malaga and know the light, timings, and layouts very well, which helps the day flow smoothly and ensures we get the best possible photos.

what time of day is best for wedding photos in spain?

do you help with timelines?

Yes, I help all my couples plan their photography timeline to make sure everything runs smoothly and there’s enough time for natural, unhurried photos without taking you away from your guests.

we feel awkward in front of the camera, can you help?

Absolutely. Most of my couples feel this way at first. I gently guide you throughout the day so nothing feels forced or unnatural, and most of the time you’ll simply be enjoying your day while I capture it quietly in the background. how do you make couples feel comfortable?

I keep everything very relaxed and unobtrusive. I give simple guidance when needed but never over-direct, so couples can just focus on each other and enjoy the moment.

we're planning our wedding from the uk, how does it work?

Most of my couples plan from abroad, especially the UK. We’ll have Zoom calls before the wedding, I help with timeline planning, and everything is organised so the photography side feels simple and stress-free. For helpful tips check out my blog: Your Malaga wedding travel guide.

do you travel outside of malaga and marbella?

Yes, I photograph weddings across Spain and occasionally further afield, but most of my work is based in southern Spain where I know the light and venues extremely well.

how far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak season weddings in Malaga and Marbella.

how do we book you?

Once you’ve enquired, we’ll have a Zoom call to make sure we’re the right fit. If you’d like to go ahead, I’ll send over a contract and booking details to secure your date. Contact me to see if I'm available for your chosen date.

what makes wedding photography in marbella different?

Wedding photography in Marbella is very light-driven due to the climate. Knowing how to work with strong sunlight and golden hour timing is key to creating natural, flattering images.

is Malaga a good location for weddings?

Yes, Malaga is one of the most beautiful and relaxed wedding locations in southern Spain, offering luxury villas, marina settings, and stunning natural light for photography.

do you photograph intimate weddings and elopements?

Yes, I regularly photograph smaller weddings and elopements, especially in Marbella and Malaga where couples often choose intimate celebrations.

What is the best time of year to get married in malaga?

May, June and September are the best months to get married in Malaga. It's not too hot and perfect for outdoor weddings

What time should a marbella wedding cermony start at?

If your wedding is between May and September, I'd recommend your ceremony not be any earlier than 4pm. 5pm would be the ideal time due to the heat.

Can UK couples legally marry in spain?

UK couples can only legally marry in Spain through the Catholic church. Your civil wedding here would be a symbolic wedding only and you would need to get legally married in your home country.

How hot are weddings in southern spain?

Temperatures can reach 35 to 40 degrees celcius which is why weddings are carried out in late afternoon. The evenings are long and warm creating the perfect ambiance for your outdoor wedding.

Do you photograph weddings across the costa del sol?

Yes! I work up and down the Costa del Sol photographing weddings from Nerja to Sotogrande and further.

What are the best wedding venues in marbella and malaga?

do we need a wedding planner to organise our wedding in malaga?

A wedding planner is always going to make the whole proses a lot easier and less stressful. I would definitely recommend a wedding planner or at least an on the day coordinator.  Contact me and I can recommend  different wedding planners.
